In Building a Model Personality
Different philosophers and educationalists expressed different opinions about the system of school. Some of them say school system is like a jail – It retards natural forces of personal blossoming and creativity in children and makes out of them tape recorders or else rigid moulds.
Despite their objections the above school of thought could not provide an alternative school system in practice which is practicable at a lower cost as well as which could provide a better education than this. These experiments remained only at the level of infancy. They could not develop to encompass the universal educational system. Now, through out the world an educational system is continuing which is similar to that of the educational system in

Many experiments were carried through out the world to make the existing educational system useful in bringing out the capacities, freedom and creative potential in the children and students. Basing upon these experiments changes are being made in the methods of education. Even in
The educational system that is there in
In the Indian educational system the school, college, and university are continuing with the objective of achieving the needs of the society of tomorrow and the directive principles of the constitution along with spreading the culture pertaining to the afore said aspects amongst the students. The ideals of humanized culture and better human relations are also being taught.
Since 1950 January 26th, wherein the constitution came into force the universal education system is continuing with the inspiration of the Buddhist Universities. Today’s educational system stands above caste, religion, class, region, language, culture and other discriminations. It is inculcating universal human values and culture above the narrow limitations of the inequities in society. Despite the fact of its many defects this educational system is an ideal one. It is important to further improve it and make it more inspiring. It is much more important to make this educational system accessible to the poor of all castes, classes, regions who could not find a place in it today. This is crucial for the advancement of Indian society to much higher peaks.

Education is becoming a commodity which is only available to the rich. The standards in various schools are not uniform. The higher standards and opportunities are available only to a few. Self confidence and higher objectives are becoming the sole property of a few. Others are being denied of them.
Because of the above inequalities, jealousies and hatred are increasing in the society. As the opportunities for bringing out the skills in all is being denied; many people are being pushed in to poverty as they could not have wealth, share in social production, knowledge or else will power. Religion, caste, caste inequities, economic inequities, rural-urban inequities, cultural inequities, and inequities in the parental background are playing a dangerous role in the personal blossoming and growth of social leadership.
Despite of all the above said the schools, colleges and universities in our country are continuing in a healthy environment which could help in building an ideal society. At the school level those who study well will get more recognition. In the same way the students who are ahead of others in sports, humbleness and friendships will get more approval and respect from the fellow children. In this way a healthy environment of friendship, love and affection develops amongst the children beyond the limits of castes and religions. That is why the friendships of classmates show an immense effect of an individual. Those relations continue for ever. Why I belong to this language? Why I should reside in this village only? Etc. The reason for this lack of awareness is the belief that they are all natural things. The thinking begins only when expose to a different society in latter life.
